New Ways to Add Video Thumbnails

When uploading videos to your galleries, adding thumbnail images to videos is a must to best showcase them to your clients.

We have always offered the option to upload custom images as video thumbnails, but we now offer two new & fast ways to add thumbnail images:

1. Use auto-generated 'Suggested' Images

When your video finishes uploading, you will see 3 suggested frames to use as the thumbnail for your video. You can simply click and apply and thumbnail image.

2. Capture Frame from Video

Once your video has finished transcoding and is available for playback, click the 'Capture Frame' button. This will switch the video preview to capture mode. Playback the video and seek to the desired frame, and preferably pause the video at that frame. Next, click the 'Use Frame as Thumbnail' button. The frame image will be then be applied as the video thumbnail.

You can learn more about adding video thumbnails here. If you have any feedback to improve this feature, you can share in comments below.

New Features This Month - February

✔️ Upgrades to Uploader

Our uploader has received major under-the-hood upgrades, leading to a faster & more reliable upload experience.

Concurrent Uploads: Our uploader now support concurrent uploads, and initiates multiple uploads based on available bandwidth. Smaller videos & image uploads no longer have to wait for other uploads to finish. This update results in much faster upload times.

Time Remaining: The uploader now displays the time remaining for each upload, giving you a better estimate of the upload progress.

✔️ Captions Support

You can now add Captions or Subtitles to your videos in up to 27 languages. You can upload a captions track in .SRT or .VTT file format. Captions are available on desktop, tablets, and mobile devices. Captions will be coming to our TV apps suite later.

✔️ Gallery Sorting Options

By default, galleries are sorted by 'Date Updated', i.e. the last updated gallery moves to the top of the list. You can sort your project galleries by 'Date Created' and also by 'Project Name' (i.e. alphabetically by name).

Your sort settings are synced across all your devices.

✔️ Copy Share Link directly from Gallery List

Need to share a gallery with a client, and need to copy the gallery's share link? Do it directly from your project list, without the need to go into the project.

Video Embeds & Direct Sharing

Direct Video Sharing:

You can now directly share any of your project videos, without the gallery showcase. This is useful for cases where your client wants to share an individual video publicly, but not the entire video collection.

Embed Videos:

You can also embed the videos to your website, with our clean embeddable video player. This also brings you more savings, if you use another service for embedding videos on your website.

Click on any of the videos in your projects, and find the 'Share & Embed' option at the bottom-left.

For embed Instructions, click here.
